Dating past....

 What experiences (good or bad) have you had while dating?  This can be in relation to your disease or just things you feel could help someone else out.

    Eventhough I am still young, I have found it very hard to find a man that can be there for me physically & emotionally. Most of the men I have dated just were'nt able to see me in pain & be there for me. The thing I hate about it most is that, most people assume that Lupus is contagious and that anyone can catch it from just being around someone...but at times i have to remember they might not know anything about Lupus...so I can't really blame them for not knowing.

    I was in a relationship with what I thought was a great man. We had even talked about getting married. When I was first diagnosed he was there and supportive. However, as the disease progressed it became too much for him to handle. That really sucked. It's hard finding someone who is willing to deal with all that comes with having Lupus.
