I don´t know myself yet but I´m in contact with a woman who was diagnosed with lupus 4 years ago, and she benefits from eating vegetables and avoiding sugar, white bread and tomatoes. Something I´ll try to do although I find it hard loving sweets;-)

Hi Stephen, i changed my diet 2 months ago and found that i immediately had more energy, my fatigue that was part of my Lupus was significantly lessend. I have stopped drinking carbonated drinks and switched to fruit drinks (surprisingly addictive!) and eat a good amount of fibre iron an fruit and veg daily. My doctor told me that all of these could only help my system fight Lupus and benefit me so why not? Anything to help, and i still have the occasional treat. They key is to focus on healthy food but allow yourself a daily treat :)

I have stopped my caffene addiction. I went from about 6 double shit coffee's tea's a day...and soft drinks...to nil! Not because I wanted to be healthy lol, but more because my body started rejecting the taste. I have the occasional coffee now...but i find that even only one cup in the morning will give me trouble sleeping that night.

I also dont eat fast food as much ....my body now just craves fruit and veg...which ui do feel much better for. I have no intolerances as such to any foods...which is great:)
