March: The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating by Elisabeth Tova Bailey

This is a quick read and may not be one for much discussion.  I was surprised at this little book's power to take something as, well, disgusting, as a snail and leave me with a much more favorable perspective toward these creatures. It is discussing being ill, but slightly.  The emphasis is more about the experiences we have while living with illness, as they related to her slimy companion, and its qualities that often go unseen.  Sound familiar?

If you're interested in reading or want to know more about this book, go visit the MLWT Book Discussion Groups on Shelfari.com (search "lupus" in the groups...it's easier to find us than the name) .  If you want to chat here, send me a message and I'll stop by.

Hope you're all doing well~
