I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2000 after being diagnosed with Epstein Barr and being very very sick and not knowing why.  It took alot of Dr's (some not so kind) to be diagnosed but I have been dealing with the pain and side effects ever since but I am very thankful to be able to function normally most of the time.

I am married and have 2 grown children an 18 year old daughter and an 18 year old step son.  My daughter lives in New Jersey and I miss her very much.  I am very lucky to have my dearest friend who was also diagnosed with Lupus a year before me and having someone understand how we feel is a wonderful thing.

the same except now I have added high blood pressure and high cholesterol

Imuran, Prednisone, Plaquenil, Midrin, Metoprolol, Lovastatin, Amitiza, flexeril, Vicoden, Motrin, Aleve, Protonix

Nausea, severe migraines (worse than before Lupus), more severe fatigue and weight gain from prednisone and severe acid reflux
