i have Lupus, it doesn't have me! i've had it since 1975. I struggled with it in the beginning because it is one of the hardest diseases to diagnose! When my hair starting coming out, they biopsied my scalp and Wow, It was Lupus. My Mom also had Lupus with the butterfly rash on her face. I developed systemic lupus several years after the discoid was discovered.
Presently, I amd on Plaquenil, Prednisone,Celebrex for joint aches, and Lost all my hair. {thank God Wigs are In.!!}

I thank God for Laughter, Good Friends, And Family.

I am a retired, divorcee who is living proof that you can sustain and overcome anything. I've lost one child due to a murder, and both parents have passed on. I continue to improve my thinking because there are always bad days. But they help me appreciate all the good  days in my life. I have attended schools and worked for 26 years, raised two children, have many grandchildren and I am 56 now. I look and feel like I'm in my thirties because I want to! Thank God also for attitude.............Positive Attitude  LOL
