frustrated with life!
So things have been really tough lately. My fiance and I finally moved into our first apartment and everything is great....it's just finances that is the problem. Not only is this our first apartment but it's my first time on my own....out of my moms house. It would be easier but Marc (my fiance) has been unemployed for 2 months and im a full-time student plus having lupus it's tough for me to work. i just got a job at a cvs near our apartment but that doesn't start til september and im limited to the amount i can work bcuz of stupid lupus. we applied for food stamps for a little help and we qualified but they said that i need to either work a minimum of 20hrs/wk or enroll in a work study program. on the other hand, marc doesn't qualify on his own...apparently he makes too much from unemployment. so he makes too much but i dont work enough? what the crap is that? the system is soooo messed up, it doesn't make any sense.i dont qualify for SSI either plus by the time i would get it, i wouldn't need it n e more.
IDK i know things will get better but until we get on our feet it's going to be tough. ive been going to OT so that's 20 bucks a pop plus other dr's appt's and meds rahhhh....i just hope we can pay all our bills this month. marc's at a job interview right now so keep your fingers crossed for us!
