swollen lymph nodes

I have been having trouble with what I thought was kidney stones. I have severe pain in my back and sides and have blood in my urine.  I went to a urologist on Monday and he did a CAT scan. He called back yesterday and said that I have "enlarged lymph nodes" in my pelvic area. I don't know what this means and am a bit scared. Have any of you had a similar problem? Do you know what this could be? I am going in for tests next week, but worry a bit about what this means. I went to web md and looked it up. The results I got were not good at all. I was given articles about several types of cancer. Do any of you know if lupus can make your lymph nodes swell? I have had lupus for 14 years and know that it can have an impact on many other things, but I have not ever heard anything about it messing with lymph nodes before.

    ok. I had my test on Wednesday. The doctor says that I have arthritis in my bladder. Have any of you ever heard of this? I have looked it up on webmd and several other places, but have been unable to find any information. If any of you know anything, could you please let me know. Thanks.

    I don't know anything of arthritis in the bladder, however I do have problems with the lymph glands in my thyroid... and have cysts which need to be checked because of my history w/ cancer...... At the moment everything is stable, thankfully... I hope your condition improves... Please let me know how you go

    I am still having a lot of trouble. I have quite a bit of bleeding and I leak. I went to my lupus doctor yesterday and explained to him that I can't handle the treatments for my bladder. They go in, empty it, scrape it, stretch it and then coat it was a "cocktail." It is beyond painful. It gets worse when I have a period, so my doctor is sending me to my gynecologist. he thinks my uterus has fused with my bladder. Has anyone ever heard of that?
    Jayde, how are you doing? my doctor originally thought I had cancer in my bladder because my lymph nodes were so swollen. I dodged a bullet on that one.
