First of all let me say, "I'm not complaining," But I was on prednisone for 3 years and reduced until I was able to get off them 6 months ago. At first I didn't notice anything different because they reduced me so slowly. But for the last 4 months I have lost my appetite. It feels like I am always full. Well of course the result has been weight loss. I have lost 40lbs (the amount I had gained from the prednisone) When I do eat I eliminate it within 20 minutes. Usually it is orange diarrhea This weekend I was in bed all day because of it. I tried some imodium and it helped but now I have been constipated for the last 3 days! I also lost 3 more lbs since the weekend.. Do you guys feel this is from not taking steroids anymore? My rhumey said he wants to "keep an eye on it" What do you think he is looking for? Have any of you experienced this?
