    I had to get on SSI because I could not work. I still am not able to do it. And besides rent, my money goes to Lupus related things like sunblock, sun protective hats, clothing, meds that my Medi-Cal won't cover, etc.

    I can only seem to manage pert time work and so need extra from the government. Sorry to hear the things you want covered dont get covered in the USA

    I don't know if this is the same issue you guys have, but I seem to ALWAYS have to go to the hospital for one reason or another. So it slowly adds up.

    still fighting for ssi appeal after appeal.  Can never seem to keep up with the costs even after my two insurances get done there are still meds that aren't covered.  And then there's me not being able to work thank goodness for my hubby and family.

    I tend to call the hospital & the doctor's office, "MY SECOND HOME."



    I never ever thought that I would have such a close connection to a place that brings back such sad moments. However it's definitely a better sweet experience because I have grown to meet and love the hospital & doctor's office that I go to. Especially now that I am more familiar with my condition.
