On the differcult days.

Recently d/w lupus yet another lifes challenges I have to face and leran how to excepty it. H ave been faced with chronic pain for over 19 years now and this new diagnosis has made my situation even harder. I mean I am fixing to be 47 and my 72 year old mother can run circles around me. I have 3 of my grandchildren for the next 5 days and already wondering how I'm going to make it through. Thanks for your time.

    Hi Ethel

    I hear you. I am your same age and I have a friend that is in her eighties and ye sshe also can run circles around me. I was diagnosed ayear ago and one of my mosy challenging isssues is being gentle with myself. I have decided to take the perspective what can I learn from this. Some days I am more successful than other days. The good news is that at least for me, I have really learned what is important to me and what is not.. So inspite of this diagonsise so far I have learned to take time out for myself and who are the true supportors in my life and distance myself from the toxic people. I am fortuante to have good friends and a male friend that have step up to the plate when I needed them, when my family would not!

     Ethel all of us are learning everday, but this eof us with Lupus have even more stuff on our plate!
