Tell us about your experience with/connection to Lupus

I was diagnosed with Lupus during my sophomore year of college and thankfully haven't had too many serious problems. My mom has both Lupus and Fibromyalgia.

I'm a graduate student at UC Davis. I'm studying to be an ag teacher so I'm super busy student teaching during the day and taking classes at night. I have a wonderful dog named Slingshot that is my life. I recently got him certified as a service dog so he goes practically everywhere that I do.
