Hi, I saw the post you left on my question about the health insurance. Well I have truley been looking out there for some possibilities for me but I didint find anything that compares at all to medicaid. Right now I have carelink, which I could only use with the university health care system, so I use that when it comes to labs and medications, and just checkups with my primary doctor. However, when it gets a little difficult is when I have to go see my rheumatologist because my insurance does not cover visits with him, so i have to pay that out of my own pocket. I would be able to get another specialist that would be covered with carelink, but I prefer just staying with him since I have been with him for the last almost 6 years....so we know each other pretty good......there is also verry good programs out there that can help you with your medications, there was a time I had no insurance and my social worker helped me get in a few programs for my medications so maybe that could help you too. Well wish you the best and if I can help in any way just let me know!
