So have you started the metho yet? are you taking it orally or the shot once a week? If you can get past the nausea at first its supposed to be a really good med. I didn't do well at all on the oral dose, but did ok for a while on the shot/injection. No, i haven't ever seen a pain doc, my rheumy will give me pain meds when needed but to be honest I avoid them as much as possible. Which is why I have probably stayed on prednisone for so long, because that really takes away my inflammation/pain away but has caused complete chaos everywhere else! lol I'm so sorry to hear that you are suffering so much, I hope you find a doctor and regimen that will relieve that pain, they have to find SOMETHING to help right? As far as the being tired part...good luck and if you DO find the cure for that you best be sharing it with us all :)
I'm sorry your visit didn't go well. Mine was not all that great either. Changed up all my meds and will start Methro this coming week. I have another app Tues to talk about Fibromyalga and get meds for panic attacks. Have you ever seen a pain doctor?? I live in a small town and our ER is a level 4 so they really don't help when I go in when I have flares. These pass two weeks have been horrible in and out of the ER in so much pain and I seen my doctor but she didn't want to give me a perscription for the pain. I went to the ER in another town close by and the pain was so bad they had to give me morphine. Just like everyone else I wish they would find something to HELP US!!!
